Enduros commonly go faster than 100...as do superkarts, with no issues. I wouldn't worry about it as long as you get a good name brand asphalt kart tire...

I google mapped the track to see how far it was maybe going to watch this summer and as usual that led to a question.

First enduro's run at speeds over 100mph you might want to ask in that area.

My question is are they going to let you all run on the big track or will you be running on the smaller track inside the big track? IMHO if it's the big track you all are nuts. ... :)

on sunday its the quarter mile small track. a few big money shows on Saturday nite with the car program on the half mile track.

You all should turn better times then the cars. ... :)

There was a NASCAR cup track which let enduro's on the same day as their race and they were never invited back because they turned faster laps then the cars.

We've cut tires thinner for high speed applications (less rolling resistance, etc) and definitely have them balanced. Daytona is probably the fastest when you get up on high psi. We've had Vegas, Dunlops, Hoosiers, B'stone, and probably others, all well upwards of 100mph with no problems. The speed is fun, but you guys are nuts! :)

There's a Superkart forum on ekarting, which might be a good place to ask. Currently 250's are running about 130+ on most road race tracks. Much higher at a place like Daytona. Even the 125 shifters on CIK chassis' run a bit over 100. Just for giggles and grins, the CIK LO206's hit "71" at the bottom of the Hog Pen at VIR!!!! Of course that's drafting in a pack, everybody on the limiter :>
But like most here have said, any high quality racing tire should be fine.
If it shakes, balance the front tires, if it seems smooth enough, don't worry about it. We've run everything from Superkarts down to 206's, and the only time we balance tires is when there's a vibration. Even then only the fronts.
Have fun,
Clark Gaynor Sr.
