08 Icon Wiggy bar

Pros and cons on a wiggy bar? Never understood what it actually does. I’ve always kept it on the kart because that how I got it. Will it help without it or should I keep it on. Thanks

I had an Icon, tried it both ways , liked it better with the bar on.
Especially with heavy driver.
