Do you mean 5/16-24 nuts that have a 1/2" head?

Get them from Ultramax. Stay away from the 1/2. There isn’t enough thread on the stud for the nut to safely grab and tighten . Save yourself a potential headache.

Not sure of your meaning ,
standard flange nuts have a 7/16hex head
with a 1/4-28 threaded hole and generally
tend to strip the thread or the hexhead ,
due to the soft material ,
over tightened,
poor socket tool alignment,
or being cross threaded.

I think you are referring to the
hardened flange nuts with a
1/2hex head and the
1/4-28 threaded hole for a standard
hub with 1/4" studs .

No such thread as 1/2-24. Its 1/2-13 or 1/2-20, which is standard for a car,or trailer
