WEEDSPORT, NY (August 11, 2020) – Weedsport Kartway’s Super Kart Series continues on Sunday, August 30, featuring eight point classes as well as the PRO Clone 360 Kart Cup Twin 20’s, guaranteeing $1,500 in winner’s money presented by Pit Stop Convenience Stores.
The PRO Clone 360 Kart Cup Twin 20’s will award $500 to the winner of each Twin main event, as well as a $500 bonus to the driver with the day’s overall best finish. With 25 entries, the event will also guarantee a Top 10 payout based on the overall finish.
Drivers in junior point divisions will also compete for a little extra on August 30, thanks to several supporting partners including Slack Karts, Performance Manufacturing, Marsden Supply Co., Precision Racing Products and John Meloling Photography. A full listing of junior prizes is listed below.
Pre-Registration is now open through the Tickets tab at www.weedsportspeedway.com. Pre-Entry fees for point classes are $40 with Pre-Entry for PRO Clone 360 set at $65.
Pre-Registration closes on Saturday, August 29 at 11:45 a.m. Those that Pre-Register will save $10 on entry fees. Junior drivers that have not already done so in 2020, must submit proof of age to info@weedsportspeedway.com.
Weedsport Kartway will follow CDC guidelines and recommendations, including social distancing. Face coverings are required when unable to maintain six feet of social distance.
Upon arrival, temperatures will be taken prior to pit passes being purchased.
Concession stands will be open with a limited menu. New in 2020, orders can be made online for pick-up.
Member driver pit admission is just $10, with Non-Member driver pit admission priced at $15. Non-Driver pit prices are $20. No spectators will be permitted for this event.
Point classes include Jr. Red Clone, Jr. Green Clone, Jr. Purple Clone, Jr. Blue Clone, Jr. Unrestricted, Clone Light, Clone Heavy and Clone Super Heavy.
All classes follow AKRA clone engine guidelines. Burris 33a tires are mandatory.
Fuel must be purchased from the Pit Stop Convenience Store located at 2737 Erie Dr. in Weedsport.
AMB transponders are mandatory to be scored with Raceceiver one-way radios also mandatory.
Pit gates are scheduled to open at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, August 30 with practice slated for 11 a.m. and time trials to follow.
