wow i haven't seen this much snow in years, iv'e been out all day with the snow blower :( and i had to shovel my front porch roof because of ice dams... and the temperature is going to drop to 8 to 10 below zero for the high, with wind chills of 30/40 blelow zero until wednesday... the weekend looks better with highs in the mid 30's... the briggs flathead runs strong on my snowblower, but i'm not sure if it's a 3.5 hp or a 5 hp? it doesn't say anywhere that i can see....

Crazy weather. We're under a blizzard watch until early Monday, here in central Indiana. Oh well, only 3 months until spring.

More snow than usual.
Must be evidence of "global warming" or "global cooling"! ...... Shut down the world. The sky is falling.

lol, :) ..... it's zero right now and it will be minus 18* tonight, BRRRR.... we got 13.5 inches of snow in about 6 hours yesterday.

Y'all have my deepest sympathys, I endured 55 yrs. of that stuff, until my bride could take no more and she told me she was moving south, with or without me, at first I was worried about not being able to kart race, but now I can race all yr. round, but I'm not as young as I once was, every other week suits me just fine.

Having fun with the kids throwing my coffee cup full of hot water into the -30* air and watching it go "poof" today. :)

Stay inside folks and be safe!

Cam that baby up, go to meth, alum flywheel and bugle pipe and let the snow fly....

Just got off the phone with a friend who lives in Boise , Idaho.
He said that since early this morning the snow has been nearly waist high and is still falling.

The temperature is 32 below zero and the north wind is increasing to near gale force.

Wind chill is -59.

His wife has done nothing but look through the kitchen window and just stare.

He says that if it gets much worse, he may have to let her in.

Zero or one below here now too. I just sealed up a big hole where the kitchen fan exhausts, locked close the flue on the fireplace, closed the drapes and it feels so much warmer I may turn the temp down a degree to 67.

When we build and before the drywall went up, I over sealed the house with plastic sheeting over the studs in all rooms walls and ceiling. I've been afraid to seal stuff up anymore because it might end up living inside a plastic bag. Even the furnace and fireplace burn outside air.

I don't think it's all that healthy to seal up a house too well.

ya know, I'd much rather put up with a couple of days of cold weather then a hurricane, flood or a tornado.

We(N.C. Indiana) are expecting mid 30's by late week and high 30's by the weekend. Rain too. Weird! Glad these -10 to -20 degree days aren't long term or consecutive days. Racing season just around the corner!
