*Amateur Clone Heavy (on Friday) and Amateur Clone Heavy (on Saturday) = Anyone running Amateur may NOT sign up for any other classes. You may run both Amateur classes, but no other classes. No Exceptions. (If you run Amateur on Friday, the only class you can run on Saturday is Amateur. If you run any other class on Friday besides Amateur, you cannot run Amateur on Saturday.)

Driver weight is 200lbs (with gear) in the 400 and 425 classes with the exception of the Predator classes.

Drivers’ ages are as of the race in January. All Jr. drivers who are borderline age may run multiple classes with the exception of Beginner Red Plate Clone. (Ex. A 10 year old may run Green and Purple Plate Clone Classes).

Predator Rules:
-Open Clutch
-The engine must be ran out of the box (No painted motors).
-The governor must be connected and operational.
-The engine must pass a governor test on the stand (5500 max with no load).
-The engine must have a key way on the flywheel as installed by factory.
- The air filter and sock must be installed per factory.
-You must run the factory gas tank but you may vent the gas cap.
-You may disconnect vent tube on tank at the tank only. Vent tube must be plugged and in place if disconnected.
-You may disconnect oil sensor (do not cut wires).
-Throttle stop is non-tech.
-Chain guard, heat shield and throttle linkage are the only aftermarket parts allowed.
- You can run a Predator Hemi engine (ARC and PVL flywheels are NOT allowed) or a Ducar 212cc with 25lbs added to the Ducar.
-$170 Claim Rule (Tech receives $20)

Engine claim rule of $170, in cash. Any competitor may claim any engine finishing in front of them. In order to file an engine claim: A competitor must complete the race. Engine may be claimed only at the completion of the main event. Claim must be filed by the driver of the kart before the last kart clears the scales upon completion of the race. The driver must verbally inform Tech you want to claim an engine and give $170 cash to tech official. In the event an engine is claimed by more than one competitor, the competitor in the highest finishing position will have priority. Once a verbal claim has been filed the claim cannot be withdrawn without forfeiture of any submitted fees and disqualification of the competitor who withdrew. Claimed engine will be marked and allowed to compete in any remaining main events registered. Engine is to be claimed as raced minus chain guard/heatshield, clutch and throttle kit. Claimed engines are subject to comply with the above listed rules. If engine is found to be legal based on the above rules, the claimer will receive $150 and all winnings and points. If engine is found illegal based on above listed rules, the claimee will forfeit the win and any points and the claimer will have the option to take the engine or receive his $150 claim money back. $20 goes to tech.

We do not have Animals on the lineup for this year’s event. After getting calls that there were issues getting some animal parts, we talked with racers, engine builders, and parts distributors and decided changing from Animal to Clone would be better for more racers this event.
 
So how many ameture classes per day hopefully we would have more than 1 class per day to run i hope or we could run another class
 
Reminder of the December 27th Parking and Pre-Registration deadline. Please have your parking monies postmarked by this date in order to keep your reserved spots, which must be paid for in advance. Also, entries must be paid by this date to receive the discounted pre-registration amounts. You may wait and register for classes at the track at the regular entry fee amount, but parking must be postmarked by December 27th in order to keep your reserved spots. Please let us know if you need a PayPal link instead. No Checks Accepted Race Weekend.

The gas station that you need to get your gasoline from for the clones is the Speedway at 605 East Blvd in Williamston. There are two Speedways across the road from each other. It is the bigger one beside Auto Zone and in front of Food Lion. Again, the gas station that we will be using for the clone’s tech sample is Speedway at 605 East Blvd.

If you are Not racing Friday classes....Please let those racers get there kart Pre-teched First.....Pre-tech will be open until shortly before end of practice both days....

Must Bring your Helmet,( ALL CLASSES)....Kid kart,Rookie,Jr 1,Jr 2 Flat Kart classes are Required to have SFI approved chest protector....Bring chest protector to Pre-tech....

All bolt-on weight must be WHITE in color..

All weight added to meet minimum kart/driver weight requirements shall be bolted to the kart with a minimum 5/16 or 8mm through bolt if under 7 lbs....Single Weight or Stacked Weights over 7 pounds will require a minimum single 3/8 bolt. All bolts are to use double nuts, with threads of approx 1/4" still visible after the jam nut.( Nylock recommend for jam nut)...

Weight mounted to the seat,floor pan,will need a large washer (fender washer type) between the seat and head of bolt to prevent the head of the bolt from pulling through the seat. Elevator bolts excluded from washer requirement....

All karts will need four (4) LEGIBLE numbers that are large enough to easily read from a distance,Front,Both sides & Rear...Rear number must be behind rear axle...The preferred location for the rear number is attached to rear bumper.......
