Our engine rules or theirs?

Your killing me Jack lol. UAS class UAS rules WKA event. That means we run our stuff at their event. I have little to no say on the day's events order and execution. I'll be there to help, race and cover the UAS administration end of the deal.

WKA and Daytona control all entry fees, parking, sign up and payout. engine, weight, body, rules are UAS specific. WKA doesn't even control all expenses here they have to answer to Daytona International speedway.

It cost allot to put on a event like this so it won't be the cheep event of your season. You will be racing right off turn 1 of the high banks of Daytona. If you've been here you know if you haven't you need too.

I will have a post race write up including the days story for all those who can't make it.

If you had been there you would know that the class was run different days one with our rules and the other with theirs. I'm not confused, but I'm quite sure there could be someone that could be.

Two years ago right they ran wka unlimited then next day UAS last year UAS and yammi Three years ago just WKA unlimited

Are you talking about the open 2 cycle class vs the UAS class Jack? There is no open 2 cycle class this year. Just the Yamaha on Sat the 28th and the UAS on the 29th. I do realize that some may have confused the 2 different classes.

I just thought it would be nice to point out that the WKA Open class don't allow the same engines as the UAS does. Because there might be some newbies that could go to all the trouble to get here and find out they can't run what they got, but in as the class this yr. is UAS, my point not needed.

Ok I found a Yamaha to borrow for Daytona but I have no pipe. Anyone be there that will let me borrow?????

Are you looking for a specific pipe Steve? I have a RLV A3 and a A2 your welcome to either. I believe the A3 would be for a bigger track like Daytona I ran it on a 1/4 mile way back when. I also have a S5 but I think that's a reed pipe.

Yes L3 dad, L2 short track. We use to have some L4s I remember but idk where those went. The L3 should still give decent bottom end for off the corner. Ran a G3 (about same) on a 3/8th and ran with the leaders just fine.
