How much should one expect to pay for a new dirt oval prowler race ready for a Jr. 3 clone class. Son is 13. Just looking for a ballpark number. I was thinking around $4,000 to $6,000 does this sound about right?

"Race ready" to me means kart, engine, clutch, exhaust and tires with wheels. I think your estimate is good, probably closer to $4000 than $6000.

Yes for everything new. I haven't got a quote yet I was just making sure I am thinking correct. Wanted to prevent my wife getting shocked if I tell her 4-6 and then it becomes 6-8.

No 4 to 6 will get it done, like mentioned closer 4 than 6 for chassis, body, motor, wheel, tires, clutch with some xtra front drivers and rear gears.
