Tracks are just tenative at this point we may change a few around to match up with there schedules. Dates should all be good we don't plan on changing them at this point.

A little information about the PA State Championship Series / Burris Money
Series to answer a few questions we keep getting.
The BMS believes in being honest and transparent with our sponsors, racers
and their families.
We want to make the following points about the BMS in what our intentions and philosophies are in how we present and conduct the series. ( No Smoke and Mirrors)

1. We don't charge a membership fee.
2. We don't charge an EMT fee.
3. We don't charge a transponder fee.
4. We don't charge extra money if you don't pre register.
5. All feature for all classes are 20 laps (more for special races). We feel the racers should get plenty of laps to get to the front if they have a poor time trial.
6. All payout schedules are posted so you know what you will be paid for where you finish.
7. We post all our parking maps with names so you can see what is sold and who is parked where. (Not a post that says parking is going fast. Just to buy a spot and show up and not many sold.)
8. We don't do kart count minimum for our special races - we guarantee all our payouts now.
9. Sponsors and racers alike are treated the same on the track
10. All racers that stop on the track and the ones that were the cause of the accident go to the rear eliminating any judgment calls.
11. BMS owns it's own scoring system, radios and registration trailer along with it's own spray sytem for spraying it's secret sauce to get the track sealed over for great racing.( Over $100,000 in equipment owned not borrowed.)
12. BMS believes in double file starts if the track is suitable for them.
13. All money taken in through out the year goes back to the karters after all bills have been paid.
14. There are two people that do all the work non raceday myself and Peggysue. This is done to keep the cost down to give back more at the end of the year. This also keeps BMS organized that if you have a question about registration, parking or sponsorships I can answer you quickly.
15.We have some awesome workers on raceday that make the show run smoothly.
16. Since founding BMS in 2007 we have always put out our schedules for the next two years in advance so that others could work around us. We were the only series to ever do this from day one.

Reserved parking will start being excepted on Monday December 10. If you are in a group please try to send together. If you plan on parking with a sponsor you must contact that sponsor and make sure they know because they only get so many with there sponsor package. We will number forms as we receive them. Please remember sponsors have first choice of parking. Then we go to the reserved parking papers. If you can't print this form off you can use the form on the website nothing has changed just the date. The way it looks we will have more sponsors this year and more racers than last year from the emails that I have already received.

RACEDAY RECAP for BMS Event #1 held at Selinsgrove Speedway April 7,2019.

Sunday early morning BMS Staff leaves home at 4 am only to get half way to Selinsgrove and have one of the BMS support trailers get a flat tire so this delays us arriving to the track by more than a half hour. We arrive at the track around 6 AM and start painting lines for reserved parking as the line of trailers is starting to get out onto the road.
Registration opened at 6:30 am and around 6:45 am we decided the track needed a little extra water. This is where we didn't know that mother nature was going to move dense fog it too the area right after we put water on the outside groove. We still had to apply the calcium mixture to the track for when the sun comes out later in the day.

The next issue we ran into was around 8:00 am when we ran out of places to park race trailers. We had to move some ropes that surround the big tracks so we could get the final trailers parked. Registration closed at 9 am just like we planned but the racing surface was still too wet to get on it. We waited as long as we could to get the track run in this finished up around 11:15 am putting the whole program over two hours behind for the day.
When we added up all the entries for the day we had 275 drivers registered for 17 classes averaging over 16 karts per class. One class had 37 karts registered and our pay scale only went to 30 karts so we took 100% of the entry fees over 30 and divided that money into the top positions and paid one extra spot. Once we got on the track we kept the program moving as quickly as possible we ran into a few glitches along the way one of them is putting the transponders on the steering shaft some of the transponders just don't get a good signal from that position. We plan on doing some more testing with this and may have to move them back to the left rear seat strut.
As the day winds down we had some intense racing all day long and we finished up around 9 pm. If we wouldn't of had our delay with the track we feel we could of been finished up around 7:00 pm right where we expected with 275 karts in the pit area.
We want to send a huge Thank You to all our BMS staff, Selinsgrove Speedway Staff, BMS Sponsors and you the racers and your families for making the Burris Money Series / PA State Championship the Largest Karting Series in the North East and a Huge Success at our first event in 2019.

See everyone at BMS Event #2 at Shellhammers Speedway April 28,2019

Sincerely
Keith Blumenstein Sr.
