The current drum is machined -- it is not legal (and hasn't been - it was simply not enforced.)
This also became a point of contention from the other clutch manufacturers qho wanted their clutches made legal, or the ability to offer machined drums.
The nice thing is, the company, Premier, is taking care of their customers through Target Distributing.
VERY NICE (and professional) move on their part.

Clutches do two things; they hold (hopefully) the engine at peak torque coming out of the corners and they have minimal slip the rest of the time. If your clutch is doing that, consistently, there is not much more it can do. Something else; heavier shoes and stronger springs are always desirable. Heavier shoes grip better on the top end.
And least I forget; the more heat the clutch produces (that's lost horsepower) the less power goes to the rear axle.
With those things in mind, if the clutch won't hold up to the abuse, even though it has the above characteristics, I would get another brand of clutch.
