15 yr olds may race junior or senior class but not both

A racer (that is an OCKS member) that competes in all four OCKS events will receive 30 bonus points for each class he or she is points racing in, granted that racer has raced in all the classes they signed up for.

Registration will be at the Ohio Championship Karting Series (OCKS) Trailer.
We will have hot laps per class.
All classes will qualify and run features

Kart rules are as follows:
Kart per 2021 AKRA Book Chassis Specs.
Clone Rules
Engine rules will be AKRA 2021 Box Stock Rules. (utilizing AKRA motor rules)

AKRA Approved muffler required: RLV B91 round hole muffler required.
Clutch Rule all classes
Open Clutch Rule, you can run any Drum or Disk Clutch you prefer except Predator, drum clutch only
Tire rule all classes:
Burris SS33A only (Burris 55 allowed in senior champ)
No grooves or siping
Fuel Rule
Fuel tech will meet AKRA rule, pump 87 per and it is highly recommended to get the fuel at the station the tracks get their samples from. Fuel test will be performed, passing fuel test is mandatory. Fuel can be tested randomly throughout the night.
Safety
All lead will be painted white, with kart number on it. Lead must be bolted and double nutted when mounted to kart.
All Champ karts must have, a functioning, at least 4 point racing harness, 5 point is highly recommended and properly used at all times.
Arm restraints are mandatory for champ karts and must be worn.
All drivers must wear:
Full length pants. No shorts.
Closed toe shoes, no flip flops or crocks.
Neck brace at all times when on track.
Long sleeve shirt, driving jacket without hood (preferably nomex or leather).
Gloves any time they are on the track.
Have and use arm restraints for all champ karts.
All long hair must be pulled back tucked inside helmet and inside of neck brace and driving jacket no long hair exposed.
Absolutely no fighting or arguing with track officials or series staff at any OCKS event. Any violation of this rule may result in the immediate expulsion from the premise with no refund.
Rough driving will result in Black Flagged for the night. Second offence could result in loss of membership.

OCKS has the right to remove people from racing any series events with no refund based on attitudes negativity and problems that drivers/crew members create for the series and/or tracks. No one shall negatively represent the series, promoter, tracks, other racers, or sponsors on any social media or any other forum not limited to Facebook or 4 cycle.
Drivers must sign up for points to be eligible for any year end awards!
Payouts are based upon sponsorship money not kart entry money, we plan great year end awards. Purses are subject to change at any time.
