Structure Mechanics Corporation (SMC) is now accepting reservations for its redesigned axle clutch. Only 25 clutches can be produced in time for Daytona. Additional clutch production is anticipated but not guaranteed.
The original SMC axle clutch was invented over 40 years ago for sprint racing but was later modified in the late 1980’s for road (endurance) racing. The 2023 clutch has been designed for road racing exclusively.

The cost will be $1600 including six tungsten secondary weights. Credit card sales will be an additional three percent. Deliveries are estimated to begin on December 15th.
