Has anyone got any of the new 2026 maxxis pinks with out date codes on side? If so have you noticed any difference in them or is it same tire just with no date code?

Not trying to hijack your post, I dont really run pinks and blues but I do run whites. I ordered a set recently and had tires ranging from '22 to '25 if I dated them correctly. I know some people want the vendors to date match. But my question is does it really matter?

Your relationship with the seller , would make that easier.
Buying from a high volume shop. Where the turn over negates that .
Lucky for me Waller was just a 15 minute drive .

Palmetto. The closest supplier to me is probably 2 or 3 hrs which is why I had to have them shipped. And even the supplier that's 2-3hrs away is the same way. Had a set that was purchased last year thats practically the same dates as the ones I just bought. I honestly didnt think much of it until just recently.

The key for me is having the right sides "match." Date codes are important because the freshness of the rubber is important.
I understand why the mfg'er and distributors would rather not have date codes on tires, but for racers (and tire guys especially) it is very important to know. Depending on the prep being used, you can manipulate the rubber a good deal as well.

I would say have matching right side spring rates is even more important, but that's a discussion for another day.

Just got a case of these new HT3's from Palmetto last week. Definitely a different mold all together, and not a single date code on any of them. We scuffed 6 sets Saturday and they didn't seem to be any different than older HT3's at least not yet...
I've got a set. Not mounted up yet and yes it does seem like a new mold. The lined and tread of tire don't seem as thick to me.
