2nd annual pap Dimm memorial Saturday September 19th

This years event will take place on Saturday September 19th at Seven stars speedway. All details for pro clone 360, and purses will be posted ASAP. Along with parking for this event, we believe this years race is going to be bigger then last years race, another reason why we have moved it to Saturday. Tire rules will be out ASAP also! It is with great honor and pleasure that dad and I get to host the 2nd annual pap Dimm memorial at seven stars speedway, showing respect to the late Richard Dimm. Most fellow racers and racing families knew Richard as Pap Dimm, Pap past away last year at age 93. And dad and I felt we needed to honor pap the way he should be. Pap a long time supporter of seven stars and the old greenwood, he also spent his Saturday’s at Pennscreek raceway park, pap also was a Long time engine builder of the old 5hp Flatheads back in the day. Then onto building clones, with that being said that is why last years events pro race was pro clone 375 paying 1000$ to win and lots of sponsored money back through. And all our other classes offered that night paid good money. We have made the decision as a group to move paps race to a Saturday day race this year, last years event we had 146 entries and we truly expected this years event to be even bigger then that. So this years event will held September 19th some important information we can give now. This years 2nd annual pap Dimm memorial will be 33s ONLY no date code rule, we have made this rule. due to everything going on with Burris racing tires and the shortage of Burris tires. So with that being said everyone has a selection of 33s so this is the decision we have made. Also we are looking to get practice started at 9:30am . The final class structure and purses and payouts will be out this week. Then we will start selling reserve parking for this event. Pro clone 375 is guaranteed 1000$ to win again in honor of pap, when we post the class structure and payouts they are all guaranteed no matter kart count.
One round of practice followed by time trials and then features. Sponsors are rolling in but we are still looking for more! Also We need to first off thank the Dimm family for allowing us to honor such a great man, in a way pap would want it done! All classes will be time trials except pre rookie red caged, they will pull a pill when they sign in, they will practice first, their pill will set the line up for their feature, they will run their feature after all the classes time trial, before intermission. All other classes will run time trials to set their starting spot for the features.

You will need a orange transponder bag they will go on the left rear seat strut. All classes will run 15 lap features, the pro clone 375 will be a 30 lap feature. If we have to run B mains for pro clone 375 their will be money on them races as well.



We are working on getting permission to use the field next to the track for spectator parking.



There is money and or tires on all classes posted! These will be the only races running on September 19th
