390 carb manifold length

Considering upgrading to a 390 carb on my predator.

What are the pros and cons of a short vs long intake manifold for the 390 carb??
 
The short should be a lil more responsive over the long. But the long should give a lil more power up top. U going alc or methanol? If staying with gas I'd recommend going to a tilly. It's a lil more money but we'll worth it
 
If you mainly race on short tracks, the short adapter would work better...on bigger tracks, the longer adapter would be my choice. That is just my preference. I would suggest getting both and test with them both, let the stopwatch be your guide
