5qt fuel tank

So I ordered a 5 qt stand up tank to run limited motor well it doesn’t fit without jacking the steering wheel way up and the boy don’t like it, what r u guys using with theses newer karts, hate to buy the floor mounted aluminum tank for one race and the floor mounted plastic one I’m not sure will work either, need suggestions and pictures thanks
