.690 stock appearing carburetor

What makes it a .690 from jrpw? I don't quite understand this technical jargon.

Before you buy one, check your rules. A lot of stock appearing rules forbid external epoxy and a good number of carbs are so thin after boring that a coat of epoxy is required so they don't leak air. And the epoxy doesn't last forever, trust me.

I have a mikuni carb but when installed, the engine starts smoking white almost like it's flooding
