Adding valve lift

Other then filing a rocker is there a way to get more valve lift without messing valve geometry up. Head is milled 060 and using stock push rods.hoping to get 020 or so more lift. Cant use ratio rockers.

only way i know to gain valve lift, change ratio of rocker, or add metal to the high side of cam lobe.

you can also grind the base circle of the stock cam, without removing metal from lift side of lobe. herbert cams did this on auto cams to gain lift.

The entire base circle will need too be reduced .
Also the lead in ramp would need some work .
Building up the nose would be easier.
Both methods are shacky at best .

Is this an AKRA/NKA engine? if not just buy a bigger cam.

If it is, then you either have a bad cam, faulty set of rockers or short pushrods. Don't go grinding cams when you have no clue what you're doing, I can promise you it won't end well. What is your lash, are you at true Zero? Where are you measuring your lift? at the retainer or at the pushrod?

Having milled .060 off the head and no ratio rockers , must be a funny rule set .
Is there a max lift rule ?
