Air Compressor

Has anyone bought a reasonably priced air compressor (FOR DAILY USE) in the past few years that seems any good?

no . if its not a 2 cylinder type there's just not enough volume for much of any thing .
the last one I bought was a craftsman oil less it does what I need but not much more.
I'm not a painter but did spray a fender and hood , air ratchet use its okay my HF soda blaster it works far from ideal .
I often thought about paralleling it with the one it replaced to see if it would keep up , the need hasn't really been there though.

I have a 45 year Craftsman (DeVillbus) that fits my needs. With daily use I rebuild it every 2-3 years but they just stopped making parts.

If you want a lot of air look for an old shop compressor, 5 hp are great. Put a single phase motor on it , I've had one for 15 years
