Air fuel ratios

Just approximately.
Gasoline 14 – 1
methanol 6 – 1
So it takes just a little over twice the alcohol versus gasoline.. These are approximations, not hard and fast rules.

If your carburetor uses jets, you want to double the area of the jet hole. "Area", not diameter. Pi x radius ^2

If you have a .038" jet, a .054" jet would be right at twice the area. Same for the low-speed jet, twice the area.

Good answers. I have an onboard A/F gauge plus exhaust temp/ I will be running gas at some tracks but mostly alcohol. Some methanol is better than others so I can get some help from my gauges to get it right,
One more question =Is 13:1 compression o.k. with methanol? Predator engine.
