I didn't have much luck with the one pictured above. The back side of the collar worked itself loose after each race. Then after about the 4th race with it, the weld cracked really bad where the collar was connected. Doesn't seem to have enough support IMO. I have since went back to a plastic tank. The new Ultramax tank they are selling with the Pro edition of the new Phaze X kart seems to have fixed that issue based on the pictures.
 
I've been racing with the style pictured on mine for almost 2 years now and couldn't be happier with it.
