ok so have an animal with dyno mod 1 cam springs head milled stock timing port polish stock length billet rod stock head gasket and a 30 mm round slide pz carb on gas is that carb to big for that motor?

I just did a 14.5 CID motor with a big valve billet head on it that had a 32 mm flat slide carb on it. The customer was getting beat off the corner but the top end was fine.
I replaced it with a 28 mm flat slide and was able to keep the same HP on the top end while improving the bottom end power by 1 HP.

Yes.

Either build up the rest of your engine to handle that big of carb (certainly big valves and some roller rockers (=increased lift) or down size the carb.
A 28mm Mikuni is a nice fit for these engines.
