Animal stroker max rpm

I dont have alot of experience with animals but i would think the rockers/valvetrain would be the weak point
we have the same thing and turn in the 8s no prob.9200 is what the original builder told me to turn it even with stock rockers.he said they used to build em like that all the time.well will try 8800 first check lap times.

In my observations and my opinion this cam was not really designed to work with stock rockers, the required spring rate and lobe ramp are both on the high side, remember the rocker posts on a stock animal are only screwed into sheet steel and not strong enough for that kind of spring pressure nor are the rockers, here are the cam specs.
