Just a note in passing for those of us on here that vacationed in Southeast Asia at Uncle Sam's expense during our youth and lived to fight another day; Jeremiah Denton, Rear Adm USN, passed away on the 28th in Virginia Beach, VA, joining Carlos Hathcock, Nick Rowe, Jim Stockdale and all the others from that generation that embodied professional excellence and devotion to duty and honor. He was 89 years old. His couragous use of morse code through blinking his eyes during a propaganda film staged by the North Vietnamese hoodwinked his captors and was a real intelligence coup in those times.

RIP.
 
He was a hell of a man and suffered terribly at the hands of the North Vietnamese but never wavered from his belief in his country.
 
Jane Fonda are you proud of you actions and the pain you caused to our men who were prisoners?

Thanks to the rest of you who served and those who are serving now even thought this administration has tied your hands.
