Anyone run a Jawa, what oil do you run? Cody racing in California says to run this oil named silkoline, but the prob is the oil is like $50 a gal, that's not to bad but it cost another 40 to ship it to my house.

When you drain the oil from the engine, take a wrench and slowly turn the engine over (with the plug out....), the oil pump actually holds a fair amount of oil from draining. When you refill the oil, only put in about 24-26 oz. Don't top it off because if you do, the engine will just blow it out the cam cover overflow and lube the outside of the engine. It never seems like there is enough in the engine, but the hose gauge should have some air space at the top of it. Good luck and have fun...........

If you are on the east coast you can get Rok oil from Seay racing....60W vegetable oil> When you are done with it you can fry up some chicken !
