AR/OK Series will use 2017 NKA Rules. This will allow racers to use their 2016 AKRA engine for this season. 2017 AKRA engines are not allowed. More classes may be added as participation increases:

JR 1. 2016 AKRA Green Plate
Big Header, Stock RLV Muffler,
Open Tire, 265lbs

JR 3. 2016 AKRA Unrestricted
Big Header, Stock RLV Muffler,
Open Tire, 320lbs

Modified - Clone or Predator
Must be Stock Appearing on Outside,
Methanol or Gas,Treaded Tires Only,
Right Rear must Durometer 50, 375lbs

250 Class - National Rules, 420lbs,
and Right Rear must Durometer 50

Open Class - National Rules, 450lbs,and Right Rear must Durometer 50

Jr2 has been added. Below is a better explanation of the series' Jr rules packages. Apologies for any confusion caused by the original post.

Jr1 - 265lbs/5-8 years old
-NKA Restricted Clone. Must run single hole .425 Green Restrictor Plate
-Restrictor must be mounted between carburetor and manifold and cannot be altered in any way. Must use gasket between restrictor and manifold.
-Any clutch
-Any exhaust pipe

Jr2 - 290lbs/8-11 years old
-NKA Restricted Clone. Must run single hole .550 Blue Restrictor Plate
-Restrictor must be mounted between carburetor and manifold and cannot be altered in any way. Must use gasket between restrictor and manifold.
-Any clutch
-Any exhaust pipe

Jr3 - 320lbs/11-14 years old
-NKA Unrestricted Clone
-Any clutch
-Any exhaust pipe

*Tech procedures and guidelines for NKA Clones will fall under 2017 NKA rules.
**2016 AKRA Clones will be allowed as they will pass NKA tech
***2017 AKRA Clones are NOT allowed
 
More detailed Modified rules:

-Kart must weigh a minimum of 375lbs
-Single cylinder, 2 valve overhead 4cycle engines (clone, animal, or predator ONLY)
-Gas or Methanol (No nitro or other additives)
-Engine MUST BE stock appearing externally
-Engine CANNOT have any external alterations
-Internal engine parts can be interchanged between engines
-Billet rod is strongly recommended
-Mandatory SFI certified flywheel with cooling fins ONLY, with no machining or other alterations allowed
-Muffler only needed if track rules require
-Choke assembly may be removed. If removed, choke shaft hole must be plugged
-Carb must be stock appearing for the type of engine used
-Starter boxes may be used
-No welding of enhine block for the purpose of strengthening or reinforcement
 
250cc - 2stroke
-Single cylinder, 2cycle, single carburetor, stock stroke motorcycle dirt bike engine, not to exceed 250cc displacement.
-No slipper clutches
-Gas ONLY. Race gas is okay. No alcohol and no additives
-Minimum weight with driver is 420lbs
-Ages 13 and up. Younger drivers may petition to enter the class and will be considered on an individual basis. Final decision will be made by track promoter and based on experience and ability
- Racers must run a spec right rear tire. Racers have the option of using: Burris QRC55, Hoosier D50, or Rocketboy 50 Right Rear. Right rear must durometer 50.
-No prepping/doping of spec right rear

250cc 4stroke
-No overbore. Some manufacturers have different cylinders (A, B, C etc) but as long as it falls in the parameter of OEM, then you're okay.
-Stock stroke
-No slipper clutches
-No porting, no welding of ports, no port angle changes, etc
-No lightening of flywheel
-Any pipe is allowed as long as it is not a safety issue. (protruding outside of nerf, etc)
-Right rear beadlock required
-Gear removal will be a non tech item
- Racers must run a spec right rear tire. Racers have the option of using: Burris QRC55, Hoosier D50, or Rocketboy 50 Right Rear. Right rear must durometer 50.
-No prepping/doping of spec right rear

Open Outlaw
-Single cylinder, single carburetor 2cycle or 4cycle motorcycle dirt bike engine, not to exceed 550cc max displacement
-NO turbochargers allowed
-Minimum weight with driver is 450lbs
-Ages 15 and up. Younger drivers may petition to enter the class and will be considered on an individual basis. Final decision will be made by track promoter and based on experience and ability
- Racers must run a spec right rear tire. Racers have the option of using: Burris QRC55, Hoosier D50, or Rocketboy 50 Right Rear. Right rear must durometer 50.
-No prepping/doping of spec right rear
 
I like the idea of that modified class wish they would do that around here with a heavier weight tho for adults. that bp clone didn't have enough umph for us fat boys to compete but in that mod class I bet it would be a different story.
