After much adieu about a Gold Cup 206 class at AMP I am pleased to announce the availability of this class for the March 3rd race. You spoke and AMP listened, so this is your opportunity to create and grow a class of Gold Cup 206 racers!
AMP Rules as follows:
Gold Cup LO206
Age: 15+ Years Old
ii. Chassis: Standard
iii. Engine: Briggs & Stratton LO206
1. Engine Oil: Briggs 4T
iv. Weight: 380lbs
v. Fuel: Sunoco 90 from AMP Fuel Center
vi. Tire: MG “HZ” Red 4.5 - Front/7.1 – Rear
vii. Regulations Section:
1. Kart Chassis – Section 250 Gold Cup 4 Cycle Sprint Racing
a. Bodywork – Gold Cup bodywork only (full coverage nose cone)
b. Bumper - Must cover the entire width of the rear of Kart
2. Engine – Official Briggs & Stratton 206 Rule Set (Current Year)
This is a test balloon to see how well this class grows. It will not be on the schedule by default unless the numbers show the staff at AMP that this was the right move so here is your chance!
