Bama 250

Yes, even safer if you put a bolt in the jackshaft and start off of it. Reference middle pic post #40
Looking at the pictures of the Bama, if you did swap the crank 180, do you think the belt gear on the crank would have clearance from the water pump pulley?

After you turn the piston and cylinder the water pump will be on the opposite side.

To clarify…. From as pictured above.
1 remove the cylinder/head
2 turn piston 180
3 unbolt crankcase from the jackshaft and turn 180 and bolt back on.
4 bolt cylinder and head back on.

Does that make sense?

JUST REMEMBER BY ADDING HORSE POWER IT WILL MAKE YOU FASTER DOWN THE STRAITS.BY SUBTRACTING WEIGHT MAKES YOU FASTER EVERYWHERE.
