Best aftermarket big block head for bang for the buck?

Anyone bought an aftermarket head for more power gains?
NR and bullfrog list them for under $300.
I see paulskarts list some on ebay but they are a lot more money but look pretty good.

one other thing if u are going to have big compression have him put a compression relief in the head so u can use a regular kart starter. they are made for a harley an they are about 25 bucks

Ahhh Yes Gary is a Head guru! I had never heard about the compression release thats awesome!

No one yet, I found Barry young but he didn’t really seem interested in my plans. He never responded to my last message.
‘I put the stock head on with a mild port on the short radius.

I’ve heard of that compression release before. I still use a cam with the compression release.
