Best way to shrink a tire

Take out valve stem....heat really good with torch....sit to the side and let it shrink on its on. Can also heat and dunk in cold water to shock the tire down in size. Those are two ways I've used.

An old electric oven from Craigslist would be better than using the oven that you prepare your food in.
Even if there are no preps added to the tire, there are chemicals already in the rubber that are very unhealthy for you (and not very tasty from what I hear.) ;)
Remove valve core.
Pre-heat oven to 200*, place tire in the oven for 10-15 minutes (or until golden brown - just kidding), then remove and let cool to room temperature.
Replace valve core after the tire is cool to touch.
Fill to race air psi, measure, and repeat if necessary.

FWIW, you're only shrinking this tire 1/4" -- that's pretty easily done by setting the tire (flat) out in the sun one sunny afternoon.
