Big bore!

Maybe tried to go alittle big on this one! Hahah hopefully will still work with a thick sleeve! What do you guys think?

I am not gifted with boring out small engines but I dont see that idea working. I think it will get really hot too. Could possibly work if you put a bunch more of support on motor but I still think you went way to big. What will bore be when you sleeve it?
Trying to get a 3.108 finish bore
 
I thought it was a 2stroke at first glance, but realized you cut out to the fins. Sorry to say but I just don't see it working well for you, but never know until you try it.:unsure:
 
If the "jug" is as thin as I suspect down low, it'll break the block early in it's run-time with the poor rod angle, etc.
These blocks need a LOT of welding to support them if going 3" and larger. You already had the welder cranked up for the block extension -- that would have been the ideal time to reinforce the block. Going to be tough to do that now. (think a lot of filler rod) :)

Have fun with it, but I wouldn't invest much into it at this point. It's about to get real costly.

Looks like a little bit too much overbored, idk if the make aftermarket replacement pistons over 0.3" overbore, im not an expert but that's what I saw
