Big pipe question

I'm having loosening problems with mi headers ( big pipe headers .it loosens by the head , im using a drilled allen bolts with drilled hole to pass a wire. My question is , I'm not going to use a gasket ,what bonding sealant can i use for to replace a gasket by the headers ?

We always used red RTV when we raced Animals.

make sure the gasket surface is still good and flat and isn’t wore off due to the pipe working loose. Swap it over to studs and nuts and and small amount of red/copper hi temp silicone.

I use studs and 12 point 8mm nuts, external star washers and plenty of blue Loctite. The advantage of the small nuts is that you can get a socket with long extension on them without having to remove the chain guard. Allows quick tightness checks.

use ultra gray sealant, get it almost anywhere, wal mart has it, it seals and keeps the pipe from moving and getting loose

I looked at Walmart .any specific brand and name ? I see more than one kind Thanks

Yama bond is the best .
Otherwise any of the gray stuff

its Permatex ultra gray, the yama bond and honda bond do work great, but hard to get off
