big stroker billet animal

just a little heads up on my new build, the 2.837 crank did go in the jr race car 1 inch over block,,with one little spot to machine on the block,, we got it running tonight,, and its STOUT!!, we havnt done any dyno testing, but im guessing 40-45 hp, .The j.c specialty head seems to be very good ,, after we did some unshrouding in the combustion chamber. ( trying to get the compression down from about 15:1 to around 12.5 or 13). it took a lot of hours ,, but it sure sounds good.

So what block, crank and cam did you go with? -.400 billet stroker? block extension? 5/8 or 1"?

1 inch taller deck jr race car block,, 2.837 billet crank, and a big billet adjustable cam,,(not gonna say what size) ,,

I just sold 2 of these motors, built on the 305 format. 5" rods and 3" stoke. They where mean!!
