I'm new to this karting stuff. I was wondering what it means to increase bite in a chassis. Is this like side bite front bite etc. I'm just trying to understand bite. I'm talking like bite with scaling. Like in this article what bite are they referring to?

Number 3) state's cross weight , then goes on too say nose weight -left -and cross affect it . The jest was add nose increase bite add cross increase bite .
Add left decrease bite .

There are some pretty good articles in Longacre's tech section, including some written by Harril Wiggins.

Good refresher, or just plain good info.

That is confusing , normally bite is how much more the l/r weighes than the right. L/r 80 lbs , r/r 42 equals 38 lbs of bite. Sounds like he is calling bite something else.

This is generally a big car term in dirt racing
