Black sand cure time?

When we say 10 days cure time is that 10 days after the last wipe? Or ten days straight of wiping the tire.
If its 10 days after the last wipe i would need 2 sets of tires when racing weekly.
 
That is the recommendation for cure time. It will still be effective in less time but the longer it sits and soaks into the tire the better it will be. You can speed up the “cure” time a bit by cutting it with acro or diamond but any time you alter the prep or it’s cure time it loses a bit of its effectiveness. If you wipe black sand wipe on Monday and as far as I am concerned your done with it as long your using it for its intended purpose. Just switch to a good bite agent. That following Monday a nice light wipe if needed. Just keep and eye on your duro or it will start dropping as well. I love black sand for where I race but after a nice base wipe during the week I think you will find that a good quick dry bite agent is all that’s needed.
