Black sand?

I had mixed some black sand and acrysol and after a little bit there was a layer of black sitting on the bottom of the container. I tried shaking it up but it always settled back on the bottom. Is this normal?

yep, thats black sand for ya. just shake the crap out of it before each use

Doesn't sound right. Ive mixed black sand and acrysol a plenty of times and never have had it separate.

Yes it will separate, talk with Randy and he can help you to fix that.

Yes Black Sand will separate from the Acrysol. You can just shake it up before use or you can add methanol or 99% alcohol to it until it holds together, add 1oz at a time.
