Black Vortex setup

I would think Silver Springs maybe the second hole. Black are pretty stiff springs for that low of engagement.
You are probably correct. It's been a while since we've done a Vortex and out of habit I just equate black to soft (thinking Bully, H'man, etc.)
Racercurt, you are probably better off with black springs, depending on the weights it's got. Sorry for the misguidance. -Brian

I agree with the silver spring second hole. It’s 160 rpm difference for each hole you move the spring into. The tighter you pull the spring back the quicker it engages.

^ Yep, I mispoke earlier by just suggesting black springs. Use the black springs only if you've got heavier weight levers, then still in the #1 hole.
Silver in #1 would be closest to 3000 rpm that guys are telling me they engage their clutches for stock Predators.
