Blue Plate animal

What is a good starting point for clutch ingagement and max rpms on a blute plate animal on dirt? Also what's a good pipe? I have a 906X18 j pipe now. Would an .880 be better? This is on a jr champ.

Clutch 3500rpm
max rpm 5800 to 6200 depending on how your motor and track
The pipe diameter, length can vary from mfg to mfg.
