Blue vegas

Any suggestions on how to wipe and roll the blue vegas . Compared to a maxxis.
If the tracks bite up hard and build tire temps, you'll be alright with a normal internal and some high bite externally.
If you can't build heat in the tires, you'll struggle -- so then you use a harsher internal, soften them down both internally and externally, and put tons of bite into them to make them build heat.
Heavy internal roll with our Pink Panther, followed by further softening with Monster Bite externally would be a starting point.

How do you prep this tire without it gettin to be 42. Or is that a some what normal punch for this specific tire. ???
No, that is not normal.
It sounds like you used a very harsh prep that softens dramatically.
@ 42d you're almost 10 points softer than a Yellow!
I doubt that is what you want for Dirt Devil, and is Blue the spec tire that you have to run?
If you're allowed to run any compound, then just about anything else will work better than a Blue prepped down that much.
Blues like heat and abuse - high bite, abrasive tracks requiring a harder tire. The more heat and abuse they get, the better they work (very much opposite of the way a Yellow works.)

Dirt Devils you'll want it around a 48-50 from what we've found. Assume you're running the FKS Vega series? If not, I'd be on a Maxxis for regular Sat night shows.
