Bodywork

What else can I make a wedge body out of besides HDPE plastic.
For the money I've spent building HDPE bodies, I'll just buy a Fuzion Composites wedge and nose. Tough as nails and I think my whole body was like $275. Mount just like any other kart body and race it. No aluminum angle structure. No rivets. No real hassle. And it doesn't warp or wave with the sun and vinyl sticks easily with no peeling

I use .060 Lexan (polycarbonate). Very durable and cost effective. Also very easy to work with.

If you want something light and on the cheaper side I built wedges from coroplast (sign board) for years. Use the thicker 6ml stuff not the thinner 4ml if u do.
