The blue covered engine has the HL-360A tilly carb and the white covered engine has the HL-314G tilly carb, from my research there both gas carbs. Also does anybody know info on that clutch? All I know is that it’s a horstman 2 disc clutch, I would like to know the engagement rpm on it.
I would suspect that both have been drilled for alcohol....we've used those same carb models for years on kart engines and made them to run on alcohol. Yes, from Ireland, they are set up for gasoline.

As far as the clutch....how low of an engagement do you want?
Peak torque is where your engagement "should" be, but you can make your clutch come in wherever you want with weights and springs.
If you want it lower, add washers to each bolt. 4 washers on each bolt will get you down to around 3800-4000 with .091" red springs that are on it.
To get lower than that, you'll likely want to change out the springs for black ones (.086".) Leave the 4 washers on, especially with the extra toque your engines should make -- you'll want that clutch to stay engaged -- the extra weight helps when over-powering it.

We've got the springs, or any other parts you should need in stock.
We also do clutch machining and blueprinting services should you care to have your clutch gone through at some point.
