BSP-2 Cam

Can anybody give me some info on the BSP-2 cams? Can't find anything online anymore. Best application, rpm range, valve lash, etc. And I know there are newer, better cams out but I am trying to make use of some existing parts for a claimer engine.

Set the BSP2 to an ICL of 113 degrees +/- 0.25 degrees, set both lash at 0.003" im using 22lb springs and lightweight ARC lifters with alloy T2 gx160 push rods to help prevent surge.

Otherwise its a good little cam that revs hard with a very linear power dyno plot. Works well with a set of 1.3 ratio rockers to get circa 0.300" lift with reasonable duration.

I have a BSP2 cam in a gx200 with 22mm mikuni and it's easily making 15hp @7000rpm. Im now fitting a PVL flywheel, 1.3 rockers, 25mm exhaust and 27mm inlet valves in a push for circa 18hp at 8500rpm.

For sure there are more hairy cams out there but they smash the heck out of your valvetrain, so then you need very stiff springs and so on....
