We build our own motors, been competitive all year. Do little things to tweak them and have fun doing it.
Bought a Dover stage3 motor built in 2010 for cheap cheap, and I know it needs a rebuild.
Put it on the kart after mine blew...felt like it had no power and did not feel like it had the get up and go.
Went out in the feature from near the back and won 1st place.
This was a pleasant surprise, and made me rethink what these builders do to make these little engines go...
