Building a tire cutting machine

Any ideas of what would be a start to building a tire cutter? Any ideas would help.

I built a tire surfacer first and used wood working rasp to cut tires, that is the simplest method. I now have a v-max tire cutter.

I know some people use a lathe and I think there called body filler cutters and do it by hand but you got to be careful doing it this way

hand cutting tires isnt hard to physically do by any means, but to do it correctly takes lots and lots of practice

I have a. Sbc cutter. Played on it some. Anyone got any tips or tricks for using one.

This is true, I may have over simplified the process a bit..... But with practice is very effective.
