Building Honda 450

Out of curiosity has anyone had reliability issues with OEM crank and rod; specifically 05 CRF450r? Engine has 13.5:1 compression and big bore and some other things done to the engine. Second guessing my build choice on OEM. Thanks
 
I have two Honda CRF450r engines that I road race. 8-9000rpm on 2 to 3.5 mile road courses. WOT 80-90% of the time. We don't run the Athena big bore kit and we do run them at 12.5:1 compression but we never had a rod or crank related problem. We have run the Yamaha yz450 and had rod failures before going to a Blade billet rod.
 
I have the hot rods kit in my 450 . I didn't know how old the one in the bike when I got it was so I changed it .stock bore 12.5 comp. I also have a short block stock I have not put together but also wondering if I should change crank and rod it 2005 so I would think it has a lot time on it
