Bulley clutch basket

Steel...and depending on what engine you're running, you may want to have a 3 or maybe even a 4 disc, your driving style has a lot to do with it, if you're off the throttle alot, very likely you're gonna burn up the disc's in a 2disc, it's no good to be dnf ing because of clutch failure, well worth the extra $$$ to have a good steel basket 3 or 4 disc clutch on a jackshaft imo...

Your total weight will also come into play as well as the size of track. If you and your kart need to weigh a pretty good amount (360, 380 or even 400lbs) you probably need to move on up to the 3-disc. I personally think the 4-disc is over kill on a KT setup, especially if it's stock. But, that's just my opinion. Also, if the track you're on (speaking of dirt ovals) is a small bull ring, go with a 3-disc. You can expect a lot of restarts. Restarts = more clutch wear.

Nothing wrong with using a 4-disc but, it is more rotating mass. Not an issue after you're up to speed.
