Bully clutch 3 disc snap ring

The bully snap ring has two cut outs in it that fit around the driver . It's absolutely necessary to use the little allen screw with them .
Regular snap rings work on some driver's .
The driver groove determines the needed width .
There are thick and thin .
Most new drivers come with snap rings .
Get two of each then you hava spare and can cover any situation .

They're available from Kart suppliers.
I keep a couple on hand just in case.
The one U have is an O.D. snap ring.
I think the correct ones are I.D.

That one looks like a pair of channel lock took it off ...:)
It also looks thick .
If you have any good supply houses , farm stores or a real good auto parts store . You can find one take the driver with you .
Or as bumpy said order a few with some other stuff too make shipping worth while .

You have a genuine Bully driver on that clutch. Other drivers will fit the Bully baskets, but they take different snap rings (ie SMC, WMS, Premier, probably more.)

Keep your snap rings with your spare drivers, that way they won't get mixed up.
We rebuild hundreds of clutches and we see this problem regularly.
We keep 4 or 5 different snap rings in stock for just this reason.

That is not a genuine Bully snap ring that goes on the inside of the basket to hold the driver to the basket.
Aside from being bent badly, the ears on the Bully snap ring turn in.
That's not to say that it might not have worked previously, but
that snap ring needs replaced.

Thanks Thats what i was trying to figure out. That snap ring in the picture i put came off the inside so im guessing thats why it was a nightmare to take off. Do you happen to know the size snap ring i need to get? I appreciate your time in answering my questions

I have not found the genuine Bully snap ring to be available at any local hardware stores or hardware supply chains - I've only found that exact snap ring to be from Bully.
I don't doubt that it can be found somewhere else, but you can get them through the normal Buller distributor network / local kart shop. I've got them in stock if you need, but surely someone local to you, or your track-side vendor will have them in stock so that you don't have to pay shipping. If not, give us a call. :)
