Bully clutch spring free height limit

I would base that off age .
.518 is fine , how they all compare, is a consideration as well .

Average new spring is .515-.520.

If they are below .500, toss them.

You don't need to replace them if they are less than .500," but without a spring tester, you won't have any idea how much pressure they have lost.
Heat is the primary reason for damage to springs. Cook a clutch just once, and your springs can lose tension.
