Cam id

Unless the cam designer identifies the cam with markings that the average John Doe can see ( like Box Stock Project identifies their cam as a BSP4 ) the only way to identify is to profile it and compare to the Dyno cams website

Ok. I guess I should back up here. I thought you were asking about stock cams. Thanks sun dog I learned something

The only way you are going to know if it is an AKRA legal cam is to put it in an engine and profile it. If you do that your duration numbers will determine if it is legal but if your gear is off on the crank your centerline will be off and that will make it difficult to determine just what cam it is. UNLESS you have done enough that you can add or subtract in your head and adjust the numbers mentally to determine what it is.
