can I run a single disk clutch?

I have a single disk vortex clutch that came with my kart. The class I am running is a 350 class. My motor is not stock either. I am guessing the answer is no but any input from someone who would know for sure would be great.
 
The clutch will work but it won't be the optimal choice. Especially if you get into several restarts it will heat up much quicker and you will end up gettin smoked on the starts.
